What is Sports Trader Funding and how does it work?
Sports Trader Funding is a proprietary trading program for sports prediction markets. You trade an evaluation account on live sports contract prices. Pass the published rules and you move to a funded account on the same markets, where qualifying performance earns real payouts once the paid program launches.
What are sports event contracts?
A sports event contract is a yes-or-no contract on a game outcome, priced between one cent and ninety-nine cents. When the game ends it settles at one dollar or nothing. The contracts you trade here are listed on a federally regulated US exchange, overseen by the same regulator that oversees futures.
Is my trading real?
Your account is simulated. The prices are not: every fill comes from the live order book and pays the real exchange fee. Nothing is placed on the exchange on your behalf, so your evaluation never puts your own money at risk in a market.
What does it cost?
Nothing during the closed beta, which is invitation only. Paid evaluations will be a one-time fee that is shown before you buy and never renews on its own.
What are the evaluation rules?
A 20% profit target on a $10,000 starting balance, a 6% trailing drawdown measured on equity with open positions included, 5% of the starting balance per market and 10% in total, up to 20 open positions, and new positions only between 15 and 85 cents. There is no daily loss limit and no minimum number of trading days. The full Program Rules are published before you start.
How do payouts work?
Payouts and the profit split open with the paid launch. Both will be stated on the Program Rules page before any evaluation is sold, and a funded account's terms are shown before you accept it.
